Finding Soul on the path of Orisa

A West African Spiritual Tradition

Tobe Melora Correal

American-born, with pilgrimages to Brazil and Africa, Ms Correal a priestess of Yemaya reveals her personal journey to understanding her lineage. The details included about ancestor reverence were unique and truly transcend outmoded views of what ancestor reverence is all about. Speaking of her ancestors, including her own racist white great-grandfather's spirit, who is "humbled by the irony that his only living descendants are not white; reminded me of my own multi-racial lineage. I make sure to include my Celtic, Native American and African ancestors in my rituals. This book is refreshing, and full of love.
