Osun Priestess Blog
The Osunyemi Blog is our mini-journal of our discoveries about the traditional Yoruba religion of Ifa and Orisa veneration.
I am an Osun priestess writing about the religion as it is practiced by me personally and by my family of HATTAF International, my Oluwo Chief Atanda of Osogbo, and my family/friends here in North Carolina.
Nigeria the home of Orisa, holds keys to the understanding of the religion in the diaspora. Who or what are Orisa, how to travel to the holy sites in Osogbo, what is the Maafa and its legacy, healing from the Maafa, documenting our history and learning about our hidden ancestry, are some of the subjects covered.
Rainer, my husband writes his blog entries under the heading 'Oyinbo Diary.' He is also responsible for the Videography information and other stuff!
