Initiation Services in Nigeria!We make all arrangements for you to initiate to Orisa or Ifa, under the direct supervision of Chief Atanda, Areal of Osogbo appointed by the Araba of Ile Ife as leader of the international Ifa community. Chief Atanda is the founder and spiritual leader of HATTAF International with temples in London, England; Mexico City, Mexico; Sacramento, California; Lagos and Osogbo, Nigeria.Your safety is our first concern!We guarantee you that you will be physically and psychologically safe at all times. You will NEVER be left alone nor will you be asked to participate in any activity that violates your moral code.Non-initiating companionsYou are free to bring a spouse or companion who is not interested in ceremonies. The fee for your companion will be half (50%) of your fee.FeesYour fee will cover ALL your expenses from the moment you land in Lagos, Nigeria until you depart from Lagos. This includes all ground transportation, room and board as well as any sponsored sight seeing excursions. It does not include souvenirs.You do not have to be a member of HATTAF. How to join HATTAF InternationalTemple membership includes a ‘swearing in’ with members around the world by conference call, unless you are near a HATTAF Temple. Membership dues are currently $100.00 per quarter.We use the traditional 5-day system with Itadogun every 17 days. On Itadogun members from around the world share Chief Atanda’s reading of the Odu on conference call. After the Odu is read and explained there are questions and answers. Which ritual(s) is appropriate for you is usually determined through divination. Typically ceremonies involve three days of ritual leading to a spiritual rebirth.Typical ItineraryOsun Festival is August, 2009This itinerary is suggestive of what you can expect. The itinerary revolves around the Osun Festival and having Ifa and Orisa dedication services performed before the festival. One thing is certain nothing is certain in Nigeria. So please stay flexible and be assured that you will have a memorable experience, perhaps the experience of a life time. As guests of Chief Atanda we will always be treated as dignitaries; given access denied to most.
